Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to earn a 10. an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi was a Romanian gymnastics teacher who was later Comaneci's coach and first became aware of Comaneci at the age of six. The year 1969 was the first time she took part in the Romanian Junior Championships and finished 13th. In 1970, she won the title. In her first international competition in 1972, a pre-Olympic junior meet for the communist-bloc countries she was awarded three gold medals. In 1973 and 1974 she became an all-around junior champion. Her first senior competition in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. She was the five-time European champion, winning four golds and a silver. She was the first female ever to successfully perform the backwards double salto after dismounting from an unbalanced parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her journey in the entertainment business began during her teens, when she began doing figure skating alongside her younger sibling Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry in her teens. At the age of 13 she was a figure skater on the show Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. The shows were skaters who were performed to music from the stage.
